Consider [using Prism Launcher](https://wiki.download.fo/install-instructions/prism-launcher) instead, as it has a similar interface but more features.

Got asked to download a mod manually?

If you get asked to download a specific jar, it means we are not allowed to bundle it and you must add it manually:

1. Copy and paste the given address to your browser
2. Click `Cancel Launch`
3. Click `Download` on the mod
4. On MultiMC, click on the instance, then click `View Mods`
5. Drag the downloaded mod into the mod list
6. Click `Launch`

<details>

How does this work?

It is a normal MultiMC modpack that simply launches [packwiz](https://github.com/comp500/packwiz), a mod handling tool on every start.

Every time you launch it, it asks the server whether the modpack has any updates. This means you do need internet access or you'll get an error (though you can skip the error). If there are any, they will be downloaded and launched, otherwise the current game will launch.

It does *not* auto-update any individual mods outside of what is set in the the modpack.
